butterfly not girl (Belle) is an indie-folk singer-songwriter based in Boston, MA. They are currently in their senior year at Berklee College of Music where they major in Professional Music with concentrations in Performance and Songwriting, as well as minoring in Musical Theater Performance. Belle is a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, piano, ukulele, violin, autoharp, and, of course, voice. Their music, though primarily indie-folk, is shown to have qualities of indietronica, indie-rock, and contemporary country. Belle’s music is inspired by their upbringing in a small town, personal struggles, and dealing with life as a queer nonbinary adult.
